Establishing a Bridgehead for Southeast Asia Expansion

PIOLINK, a next-generation network security company, participated in K-Global@Vietnam 2025, held in Ho Chi Minh City from June 12 to 14, 2025. This global ICT event was hosted by NIPA (National IT Industry Promotion Agency of Korea) and held in conjunction with ICT COMM 2025, the largest ICT exhibition in Vietnam.

Turning Point for Southeast Asia Strategy: ICT COMM 2025

The exhibition took place at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) and attracted a large number of ICT buyers, government agencies, telecom companies, and SI partners from across Southeast Asia. 

Within the Korea Pavilion, PIOLINK showcased its flagship products — PAS-K, WEBFRONT-K, and TiFRONT — highlighting security solutions tailored to the needs of the Southeast Asian market. 

Building Local Partnerships Through Business Meetings

One of the key components of PIOLINK’s participation was the 1:1 business matchmaking sessions organized by NIPA. These meetings provided opportunities to engage directly with local IT companies, distributors, resellers, and telecom providers.Through these sessions, PIOLINK explored strategic partnership opportunities to expand into ASEAN markets, including Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia. 

PIOLINK also presented customized security proposals tailored to the demands of local government and enterprise markets, including optimized security switches for local network environments. 

Rather than a simple showcase, the event became a platform for real business discussions and demand discovery based on local needs.

With the rising demand for web application firewalls, particularly from the financial sector amid increasingly diverse cyber threats, PIOLINK actively introduced its WEBFRONT-K solutions to address this growing market trend. 

Accelerating Global Expansion

More than a promotional opportunity, the event served as a catalyst for expanding PIOLINK’s global business — especially through identifying overseas channel partners and securing new sales pipelines. 

Starting with Vietnam, PIOLINK plans to broaden its network into other key Southeast Asian countries. A PIOLINK representative commented,

Through this event, we aimed to enhance practical collaboration with local partners and accelerate our long-term global expansion strategy.”
