Targeting finance, retail, and manufacturing sectors; aims for 30% YoY growth with WAF, security switches, and ADC
PIOLINK (CEO Youngcheol Cho) is continuing to see double-digit sales growth in the Southeast Asian market. The company has been rapidly expanding its customer base by supplying its solutions to various sectors in Vietnam, including finance, retail, and manufacturing. On May 23, PIOLINK participated in the “Vietnam Security Summit 2025,” further accelerating its local market expansion.
At the event, PIOLINK introduced its flagship solutions, including a web application firewall with enhanced web attack detection and response capabilities, and a cloud-managed security switch designed to strengthen internal network security.
Over the past few years, PIOLINK has made strategic investments in the Southeast Asian market and has achieved tangible results, signing export contracts in key countries such as Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia. In Vietnam, the company has been expanding its customer base by supplying products not only to major Korean manufacturers, retailers, and financial companies operating locally but also to public institutions.
In Vietnam, several Korean banks are currently operating PIOLINK’s web application firewall. Recently, amid growing security demands in the financial sector, the company also supplied and completed the deployment of its WAF solution for a local securities firm. In addition, PIOLINK supplied both an application delivery controller (ADC, L4/L7 switch) and a web application firewall to a large hypermarket chain with multiple stores, enhancing service availability and security. A large manufacturing plant also adopted PIOLINK’s cloud security switch to achieve integrated network management and internal facility security enhancements.
PIOLINK is rapidly expanding its presence in Southeast Asia, recording annual sales growth. Beyond simple product supply, the company is implementing a comprehensive market strategy that includes joint marketing with local partners, building technical support systems, and offering customer-tailored product improvements. PIOLINK aims to increase its Southeast Asia sales by more than 30% year-over-year by the end of this year.
A PIOLINK overseas business representative said that Vietnam is a high-growth market undergoing rapid digital transformation and cloud adoption, making proactive security responses an increasingly critical issue. He added that the company will continue to target Southeast Asia, including Vietnam, as a strategic region and will strengthen its local market presence through continued participation in events such as the Security Summit.
