First Network Device to Acquire the International Common Criteria Certification in Korea

Press Releases        2017-06-20

PIOLINK announced that PAS-K — its application delivery controller — became the first network device to acquire the Common Criteria for Information Technology Security Evaluation (abbreviated as “CC” hereafter) internationally from Korea.

As the CC is an international standard for computer security certification, the information security devices must pass this to be deployed on the networks of the government and public offices. Moreover, the protection profile (abbreviated as “PP” hereafter) was arranged to strengthen security on the national backbone network as there were more needs of the CC on the network devices.

As the result, PAS-K is exempted from the security conformance which is required when the government and public offices select devices for their network systems.

As one of PIOLINK’s top solutions, PAS-K is the application delivery controller for transmitting any traffic of web-, mobile-, and cloud-based applications seamlessly with more speed and safety. PAS-K is the data center optimization solution which can maximize the availability and performance of servers, firewalls, and VPNs by balancing overloaded amount of traffic.
