PIOLINK participated in the '2019 Defense Information Technology Conference' on the 16th.

The conference was hosted by the Ministry of National Defense at the Seoul Defense Convention.

The event, which was held this year for 20 times, focuses on how to apply and utilize advanced technology related to the 4th Industrial Revolution, which the Ministry of Defense is promoting as a task of 'Defense Reform 2.0'.

There was also room for exchange of opinions among industry, academia, government, and military experts, as well as directions for the development of defense information policy.

PIOLINK exhibited and introduced the TiFRONT security switch and the cloud security switch at the event booth of the event.

The TiFront security switch supports the next submarine business with a high reliability switch for defense systems.

Switches installed in submarines should be strong against shock, vibration and water pressure, and should not react sensitively to temperature and humidity.

The PIOLINK TiFRONT Switch is suitable for installation in submarines with strong durability.

It also avoids inter-switch loops and improves network availability through ring topology-based redundancy.

Especially, in case of failure and network configuration change, traffic duplication is also supported so that communication can be settled within 1 second.

 

By solving the visibility problem directly related to security, it also monitors the user terminal and the traffic status and grasps at a glance, thereby enhancing the security of the internal network.
