PIOLINK (Cho Young-cheol, CEO) has released three TiFRONT backbone switches BS9800 series (BS9805, BS9808, and BS9810). It is a high-performed switch that handles core network traffic on advanced data centers and processes up to 12.8 Tbps of high capacity.

The new lineups support Next-Generation Ethernet requirements, such as improving management efficiency with Virtual Switch Units (VSUs) and ensuring uninterrupted transmission with the link recovery feature. It reliably controls large-scale traffic from a huge site such as data centers, campus networks, and enterprises with high capacity, performance, availability, and scalability.

It supports plentiful L3 routing and security features that protect the system from various packet attacks and block overload and malfunction, as well as redundancy and hot swapping of key component modules such as control engines, power supplies, and fans.

PIOLINK has a plan to propose a new backbone together with its TiFRONT cloud security switch for advanced network projects in the second half.
