On March 15th, PIOLINK (CEO Cho Young-chul; KOSDAQ 170790), a company specializing in network and information security, announced a 13% year-on-year increase in cumulative sales in 2022 to approximately KRW 61.6 billion. Its operating profit also increased by 4% to about KRW 11.4 billion.

PIOLINK cited increased sales of its main product, the 'Application Delivery Controller (ADC)', and 'Cloud Security Switch' sales growth in Japan as the background of its good performance. 

ADC, its main product, witnessed a 25% year-on-year surge in sales due to rising demand for network advancement, redundancy for uninterrupted services, and dualization owing to increased data traffic.

In Japan, sales of cloud security switches skyrocketed by about 129% year-on-year, achieving record-high sales. CLOUD SECURITY SWITCHES are gaining popularity in Japan due to their convenient management and reduced maintenance. PIOLINK's security services also experienced a 17% increase in sales compared to the previous year.

A PIOLINK official stated that the company's business portfolio, including the security services business and the growth of its Japanese business, has entered a stabilizing stage, despite concerns over the 2022 reverse base resulting from the large project business in 2021. The company plans to actively explore new overseas markets and collaborate with domestic firms to ensure stable growth.

Furthermore, PIOLINK announced on March 2nd that it will pay 300 KRW in cash per share, a 50 KRW increase in dividends per share from the previous year, totaling about 2 billion KRW.
