Event        2021-01-28

PIOLINK and Geumcheon Welfare Center for the Disabled held a "Wish box" event on December 22 last year to 100 families with disabilities in Geumcheon-gu.

PIOLINK, located in Geumcheon-gu, has continued various donations and volunteer activities in connection with the welfare center to spread the social sharing culture in the region.

Events such as kimchi sharing or delivery of wish boxes, which are held every year ahead of the cold winter, are typical.

It is the 15th map (as of 2021) that the two places, PIOLINK and Geumcheon Welfare Center for the Disabled, have joined together.
Two places that share warm neighborhood affection to underprivileged neighbors, and in the winter of 2020, they delivered a customized "pack of wishes" consisting of daily necessities and groceries needed by disabled families with warm interest and sincerity.

"We will continue to do volunteer work and sponsorship for low-income residents and the disabled in Geumcheon-gu in the future," a PIOLINK official said. "We hope that this year, the small touch to families who would have needed warmer hands than any other winter will be a little help."

PIOLINK has donated and volunteered variously every year, delivering wish boxes consisting of rice, kimchi sharing events, groceries and daily necessities to the underprivileged, and supporting youth learning expenses. It also hosted baseball and movies for people with disabilities who lacked outside activities due to physical restrictions, and autumn leaves outing.
