Offloading SSL encryption and decryption to WEBFRONT-K meant the web servers handled encrypted traffic with no performance penalty. On the security side, WEBFRONT-K blocked malicious attacks, inspected and identified client requests and unauthorized access, and shut down suspicious connections.
