PIOLINK (CEO Young-Chul Cho), a cybersecurity and network infrastructure company, announced that it has been awarded the Project Management Consulting (PMC) contract for the Philippines' National Cybersecurity Center, as part of a consortium with the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA), ICTIS, and Airquay.

The project is funded by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) as an Official Development Assistance (ODA) initiative, bringing together KISA and Korean private-sector security firms to extend the country's cybersecurity capabilities abroad — a flagship example of ODA collaboration in the information security space.

This marks PIOLINK's second engagement of this kind. The company previously partnered with ICTIS, among others, on a similar national cybersecurity control tower project in Kyrgyzstan, providing end-to-end consulting that spanned strategy development, regulatory and legal framework improvements, and security model design. That project was recognized as the first instance of a Korean security firm exporting security consulting and monitoring expertise through the ODA framework, setting a benchmark for ODA-based collaboration in the information security sector.

For the Philippines project, the PIOLINK-KISA consortium will apply Korea's advanced security monitoring model to oversee the full scope of work — from building out the National Cybersecurity Center and establishing its operational framework to strengthening the country's cyber threat response capabilities. Through this engagement, PIOLINK aims to build greater trust in Korean security technology across the Southeast Asian market and establish a strategic foothold for further expansion into neighboring countries.
