IPT construction and Security Switch introduce

Challenges: After Incheon Metropolitan Yeonsu City Office installed the internet phone last year, the Office have introduced a security switch considering security threats such as tapping through ARP spoofing or charges caused by hacking. In addition, due to recent BYOD environment and spread of smart work constructing secured network environment is necessary for network access by employees’ personal laptops and external unauthorized device therefore additional security switch is planned.

Solution: With the introduction of the internet telephone system to the City Office, it minimizes security threats such as tapping, eavesdropping, charging damage of the internet phone, and the office was considering a security switch to enhance security after verification of various products, 70 devices of PIOLINK security switch ‘TiFRONT’ was introduced. Yeonsu City Office is expected to strengthen the security of the system to connect the administration pc to the secondary business while introduce additional security switch for integration with internet telephony.
