NAIM Networks, a subsidiary of PIOLINK, develops a network automation solution; now, the employees in SDN R&D team of PIOLINK undertook a mission for its development. It has received the attention that it can establish the competitiveness, as foreign-made products (for example, CISCO, Juniper and others) make up all of the network solution market.

NAIM Networks is supposed to release Network Automation Solution(Orchestration) using SDN technology within this year. It can monitor the whole network.

If any problem occurs in the network, Tango can identify its root cause and then take an action immediately. Also, it can reduce the time and cost of network design, establishment, management by the automation.

It took six to twelve months to construct network. In addition, it needed to develop the equipment for IT infrastructure and change its setting as the network environment does, even after the network is purchased. However, if this Orchestration is applied, users can construct the network only by some clicks.

“It will not only cut down the facility investment and management cost of telecommunications but create automatically the whole network environment by corporates and institutions with their own data center. It is expected to work for the network management efficiently,” said one industry official.

The demand of Orchestration by telecommunications and data centers is reported to increase as they need to reduce the cost; however, Korea has no solutions.

Global enterprises (for example, CISCO, Juniper, Siena and others) have monopolized the orchestration market currently. “We built the data center to manage network by SDN; it was almost made of many foreign solutions. Korea faces with a shortage of building next generation networks.”, one in the public organization complained.

NAIM Networks has the plan to discriminate User Interface and User Experience(UI·UX) in order to maximize network management convenience. To do so, it puts UI·UX designers to develop the solution recently.

“’Tango’ grasps all architectures within one screen. If any problems occurs in the network, this automated orchestration will reduce human errors”, a manager in NAIM Networks added.
