PIOLINK introduces New Portfolio in extension of business Network, Security, IDC management, Cloud etc. (4 areas) Cooperation and Investment for Business Reinforcement.
On July 22nd, cloud datacenter optimal company, PIOLINK (Representative YoungChul Cho) had a meeting over cooperation and investment for business reinforcement.

PIOLINK announced new portfolio about adding service and solution business to production and development of existing goods; while it optimizes availability, performance, security and management for datacenter to maximize customer’s cloud business.

PIOLINK introduced 4 areas - network, security, IDC management, and cloud service
First, PIOLINK provides network solutions and has independent technology over ADN(Application Delivery Networking), SDN(Software-Defined Networking) and NFV(Network Function Virtualization). Through PIOLINK’s product and technology, it will enlarge solution business; especially to consolidate SDN/NFV leadership PIOLINK announced to cooperates with NAIM Networks and ATTORESEARCH, and provide total service from customized consulting to composition and maintenance.  

NAIM Networks, PIOLINK’s subsidiary company does SDN education, consulting and NI business. ATTORESEARCH, possessing SDN controller and SDN/NFV related technology, has recently signed MOU with PIOLINK for business cooperation  

Second, PIOLINK provides cloud security based on big data. PIOLINK counteracts network security threats that occur from layer 2 to 7 and analyzes malicious code and log collected from various security devices to provide fast and accurate threat detection. Also in order to apply SecuLayer’s log analysis based on big data and SAINT SECURITY’s cloud base malware detection PIOLINK has invested to maintain close relationship with two companies.  

Third, PIOLINK directly manages and operates IDC(Internet Data Center). PIOLINK is currently managing NHN entertainment’s IDC and has security control center in the office provide security service by setting security control center in the office. Unlike most companies proceeding IDC management and control center as a separate business, PIOLINK is expected to make synergy through attending management and operation with developing solution research for datacenter optimization.  

Security Control Center has opening ceremony in upcoming 23rd, and prior object will be NHN entertainment and related affiliates. After two months of demonstration service, it’s planning to increase customer from October as an official service.

 Lastly, PIOLINK plans to release two products based on cloud within the year. Details of the products will be released through release announcement, its’ prospected to increase sales as a new business model of the company.
