PIOLINK’s PAS-K Obtains the “Green Technology Product” Title

Also Proves That They Are the Top Ranker in the Korea’s ADC Market with Leading Eco-Friendly Technology

PIOLINK (CEO Young C. Cho, www.PIOLINK.com) noted that they have received the title of the “Green Technology Product (Certification Number: GTP-18-00814)” with their application delivery controller, PAS-K. On this product, the multicore-based network packet processing technology is applied, and this technology has been certified as the “Green Technology” last year. 

 

With the features such as load balancing for traffic on the network/servers, application delivery acceleration, and security technology, Application Delivery Controllers (ADCs) seamlessly and stably transmits applications which have been requested by users. ADCs are continuously operated at the data center 24/7. PAS-K’s green technology can save the power and reduce the cooling hours as the processing capacity is high in the same conditions compare to competitors’ products. 

 

 

The “Green Technology Product” has been adopted to improve the effectiveness of the “Green Technology” standard for the technology certification, production, quality management, and performance of products. Certified products are granted a higher priority for purchase as these ones have passed rigorous judging processes of the government and professional agencies.

Kyeong Heon Lee, the head of PIOLINK’s Business Planning Division, stated “PAS-K has already been leading the public procurement section of the ADC market with the share of 60%. Moreover, it took the first place with the market share of 35.8% in Korea in 2017 according to a domestic ADC market research result.” He also mentioned that “We got this Green Certification to prove that we are one of the leaders in the environment-saving technology. By developing the technology continuously, we plan to maintain our image as a leader of the network companies.”
