PIOLINK Exports Its 80-Gbps ADC Model to Turkmenistan with P&G Technology

P&G Technology exported PAS-K8620 to Turkmenistan by collaborating with a leading Korean company. P&G Technology is one of PIOLINK’s platinum partners. PAS-K8620 is deployed for the availability on the network system of 2017 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games.

 

As one of the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) member states after gaining the independence from the former Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, Turkmenistan is located in the southern part of Central Asia, bordering Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, and Iran. It is a socialist republic with the size of 448,100km2 (53rd in the world), population of 5.35 million people (119th), and GDP of 42.4 billion dollors (87th) with high expectations of the growth as there are vast amount of natural resources of petroleum and natural gas. 


 

P&G Technology has installed PIOLINK’s ADC, PAS-K8620 units for the successful and seamless service with the more secure network infrastructure at the main stadium. PAS-K8620 is enhancing the availability of the network system at the Ashgabat Stadium with its firewall load balancing feature while providing more stability on the service for the users. These devices are going to be moved to the government facilities afterwards. 

 

 

For PAS-K8620, there are the references of the installation for the major telecommunication service providers, not only in Korea but also in Turkmenistan and other Middle-Eastern countries, with its best throughput performance of 80 Gbps among PIOLINK’s ADC models.
